No regrets!!

Six weeks ago today we had our son revised for class IV lip tie and posterior tongue tie. He had 0-5% tongue elevation. He was 11 weeks old. Our IBCLC figured it out at 11 weeks when we met with her for the first time. Immediately following the revision, the worst symptoms stopped and haven't come back. He would choke on letdown when BF and started rejecting the breast. He couldn't create a seal on the breast and had horrible reflux. He would cry inconsolably for several hours every night. We did stretches every four hours for four full weeks. We dropped night time stretches in the fifth week. And now in the sixth week we stopped altogether. There are signs of a small amount of reattachment but given the symptoms haven't returned we aren't worried. I've learned so much from this support group and am so grateful for all your collective wisdom. I have no regrets. He is now 16 weeks old and our happy little guy.
